Christian James and Helping Hits
Christian James has amazing passion, compassion and ENDURANCE! We partnered with his organization, Helping Hits, and The Iowa Clinic, for his 24 hour hitting marathon in the summer of 2009. His goal was to hit 5000 softballs in a 24 hour period, and he delivered big time. At Principal Park in the dead heat of summer, we witnessed a show of endurance that will not likely be seen again. All while helping to raise over $10,000 for Davids Fight. Simply amazing.
Christian went on, with several more displays of strength and endurance, before hanging up the bat and cleats. Christian is the first recipient of our "Soaring with Eagles" award, and well deserved.
